Benchwarmers, satellite, and Rite Aid

I went and saw Benchwarmers today. Starring David Spade, Rob Schnider, and Napolean Dynamite. It was pretty funny, it had its moments but not nearly as funny as Napolean Dynamite. I mean nothing beats that movie right. Anyways i would suggest you see it. Its funny. its not david spades or rob schnider's best performances but it was ok.

i had to go to my grandparents house today because my grandpa gave us a new satellite box and my "genius" father couldnt get the universal remote to work on it. So i had to go pick up the remote or like my "genius" father likes to call it the "tuner" (all copyrights are reserved to him) from my grandparents. anyways i am never able to watch what i want to watch because my "genius" father likes to watch Speed channel, and learn about cars even though he doesnt know how to work on them. So i'm stuck here writing my blog for today, on my day off, because tomorrow i have to work. o boy, so much fun.

See working for Rite Aid is a fun job at times. My manager, is cool and he is a huge movie buff like myself. But we just recently lost our assistant manager who i have worked with for almost two years. That's what happens when you work for a corporation, they move people around. We are a small and SPECIAL store and all the people i work with are special in their own little ways. Its so funny because when i worked at a full rite aid store no one ever complained about anything, but for some reason at my store everyone complains about everything. One girl complained because she had to sweep the bathroom floor. (sweep the bathroom floor) i cleaned the bathroom and i volunteered to clean it, because i was bored that day, and she complains because she had to sweep it. saying it wasnt her job and it should be mine and another persons. Another girl got pissed at me because she didnt know where the midol was at. You have to understand that we have been open for 6 months (and everything is where it has been at for the past six months). I told her that she needs to learn where things are at (but i told her in a very sarcastic way). I'm all for team work, but when you have been there six months are at and you dont know where Midol is at (its in the femine hygiene asile) that's pretty sad. We also have people complain about load day. We get three pallets in on load day (which a normal Rite Aid gets about 15), saying its way too much for us to handle in a 24 period. We are supposed to have it out in 24 hours. If i was the only person to put out the load i could have it out in less than 24 hours. But people complain at my work and i hate it.

Todays blog moral is go see Benchwarmers (tell the people at the box office "Jason sent you", and you may get in free), be glad you dont live with my "genius" father, and never work at the Shafter Rite Aid. Peace i'm out

If you have never heard of it is was a TV show on FOX. It was the best show that FOX has ever done (its up there with Family Guy, and Arrested Development), but what does FOX do they cancel it after only 14 episodes because it wasnt getting "high ratings". It was also during the time of the big "reality show" thing (which dont get me started on that.)

Firefly is set five hundred years in the future and is a cross between Star Trek and Star Wars. Serenity (the name of the space ship) is owned and captained by Malcom Reynolds. The ship's first mate is Zoe served with Mal in the war against the Alliance (who are the bad guys). The ship is piloted by "Wash" who is also married to Zoe (dont worry Zoe is a chick.) The mechanic is Kaylee (also a chick but a cute one at that.) The tough guy on board is named Jayne (that's right Jayne like a girls name). There is a companion on board (ya u know what that means) named Inara (who is really, really HOT). The crew picks up in the pilot episode a priest named Shepard Book and a doctor named Simon and his genius sister River. Simon and River are trying to flee from the Alliance because they were making wierd experiments on River.

Firefly was created by Joss Whedon who also created Buffy and Angel. Yes this is a science fiction show but it is the best science fiction show ever. And i know my sci-fi because i watch that channel all the time. Now this show was done in 2002 and in 2005, 20th Century Fox decided to let Joss create a movie Serenity. The movie was excellent too but it didnt do to well at the Box Office. It barely made any profit.

Here is what is interesting to me. On Amazon Firefly is the 14th highest TV show sold. Now i was hoping that the movie would make enough money to let FOX decide to bring the show back because we know they did it with Family Guy and now Futurama. Well it doesnt look like they will bring it back so i must say goodbye to Firefly. What can i say FOX always cancels its best shows, take it from Arrested Development.

So what is the moral of todays blog no ratings = no tv show.

First blog

This is my first ever blog. everyone in my family has one so i decided to get one. well here is a brief history of my life. i have one brother Jimmie (who is married to the nicest person ever who we will call Christina), one sister Jennifer (who is also married to the coolest, brother-in law i have Jonathan). My sister has a daughter named Taylor who is a year old and my brother is expecting a baby boy (although he isnt giving birth to the baby). I work for rite aid and i absolutly love my job. anyways i just recently bought the first season of the office only because steve carrell is the funniest guy ever. anyways i'm out of here. later
